“Consummately timed and hilarious…ingenious and hysterically funny…sharp, smart and seriously entertaining” ★★★★ The Herald, Glasgow

Rosana Cade and Ivor MacAskill take on the roles of doppelgänger radio hosts Barry and Barry, batting banter back and forth in a surreal phone-in talk show. Seeking connection with the world beyond they can only tune into the white noise at the edges of their outer space echo chamber.

With live sound from Yas Clarke and lighting by Azusa Ono, MOOT MOOT is a weird and wild trip through never-ending feedback loops; a riotous rhythmic transmission for our times.

Co-commissioned by Fierce Festival, The Marlborough Theatre and The Yard Theatre. Supported using public funds by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, with in-kind support from National Theatre of Scotland.

Originally performed at The Yard, London as part of NOW18, and since at Take Me Somewhere Festival, Midlands Arts Centre and The Yard for a 2-week run in Autumn 2018.

MOOT MOOT is part of The British Council Edinburgh Showcase and Made In Scotland Showcase at the Edinburgh Fringe, on at Summerhall 8-25th August, 1:30pm
